Our thoughts and prayers are with the tens of thousands of American men and women serving our country in the Iraq and Afghanistan war zones, but we couldn’t help but say a few extra prayers for one airman in particular on Christmas. We surprised a member of our team with a phone call from her father in Kandahar, Afghanistan on air. Watch the tearful reunion between father and daughter.

Who Prosecutes Abdulmutallab?
Prosecutors will attempt to seek DNA samples today from a man who is accused of plotting to blow up a U.S. airliner on Christmas Day. His next expected court appearance won't be until January 8.
Who will handle the case? A United States Attorney confirmed by the Senate December 24th. Civil Rights Attorney Avery Friedman dropped by CNN Sunday Morning to talk about the case.
