Steroid Era: Has it Changed Your View of Baseball?

Ending more than a decade of denials, former baseball slugger Mark McGwire has admitted using steroids throughout the 1990’s, including in 1998 when he broke Roger Maris' single-season home run record. McGwire apologized in a statement released by the Cardinals saying his drug use "was foolish and it was a mistake." He went on to say, he does not believe the performance enhancing substances gave him an advantage.

McGwire’s revelation isn’t surprising to most baseball fans. Major League Baseball's commissioner, Bud Selig launched an investigation into steroid use in 2006 after two San Francisco newspaper reporters released the book "Game of Shadows," chronicling baseball's so-called steroid era in the 1990s.

We want to hear from you, has the steroid era changed your view of the game of baseball or do you even care?

Leave us a comment.
We’ll share some of them on the air in the CNN Newsroom, 11am — 1pm ET
