The :30 Second Pitch

Did you see the movie "Up in the Air?" George Clooney Plays a professional "Pink Slipper" - going Across the country to fire people. The People he "can?" Not Actors. but real people who have been laid off! They weren't acting at all!

The first guy in that clip– the one who called George Clooney a "yo-yo"... We that's Arthur Hill of Detroit and he is still looking for work. He's our leading man for this week's :30 second pitch.

Paying for 911?

Residents will pay $300 for some 911 calls, while non-residents can expect to pay $400. The new fees will help the city generate extra revenue while it suffers a $9 million budget deficit. Residents can opt to pay an annual membership fee of $48.
