Tony Harris received a rare treat from the African Children’s Choir in the CNN Newsroom. They sang great songs of hope in Africa, trying to bring awareness to their continent’s poorest and neediest.
The African Children’s Choir has been helping Africa’s most vulnerable children since 1984. They are active in seven countries across Africa and support the education of over 7,000 children.
As our blog bonus, we interviewed an alumna member of the choir Annette Nabbale. The Choir taught her how to sing and gave her a quality education. She now has a degree in video production and is using her skills to help direct the choir and help her community in Africa.
