I have a general question. I have divorced my wife over 25 years ago with out a settlement. We had no children. She remarried and both she and her husban have died. Her dead husban has children from another marriage. I am selling my house which I have lived in for the past 50 years. I was informed by my accountant that I must share the money from the sale of the house with my dead ex-wifes dead husbans children. Is this true?

On Sarah Palin – she certainly has had en effect on me and with the contents of Laure Bush's new book

She talks about an accident she had many years ago that she ended up killing a friend in another car. She like her husband show no remorse, only she feels to this day that the stop sign letters she ran were to small. No wonder she was attractive to George!

Where is Sarah on Drill Baby Drill. That the entire mass of oil in the Gulf now a lot on top of the gulf and the Atlantic shelf sites purposed would only power the US for less than one year. Is the total destruction of the Nations largest estuary worth that? She allowed as her Exxon to pay pennies on the dollar for the Exon Valdez oil spill?
The fishing industry in that area still have not recovered nor has San Francisco Bay from the much smaller spill about 7 years ago.

The best way to stay young in the workplace is to work hard let'em see elbows and stay out of the restroom.

@ John – I assume that you hired your accountant to take care of your finances, not law right? I believe that your accountant is wrong and if I were you, I would speak to a LAWYER. My minute understanding of law is that you do not have to share the sale of your house with your dead ex-wife's step-children. HOWEVER, please verify this with Civil Law Attorney. That course of action is cheaper than giving away money that you probably won't be able to get back.
