Your Questions for Ted Turner

For the past few weeks we've been asking our viewers what they'd like to ask Ted Turner. Many of you submitted your own questions for him.

CNN's Fredricka Whitfield asked  some of those question - and  Ted Turner answered them– in the final segment of our Face to Face interview with Ted Turner.

I always have regretted Mr Turner relinqishing control of CNN; it is not as good as it was then. Mostt of the talk shows and all the celebrity news shows are horrible. I miss the news 24 hrs; now at night we have re-runs of talk/celebrity shows; you wake up in the middle of the night and there is nothing for an intelligent person to watch until early morning. WHAT A WASTE! I agree with Mr Turner
that there is a overkill of newsrooms running the same story; yet CNN is still my favorite but needs to do better for its core watcher and how
about running the sport scores; for sports fans on the go, it is a must.
HLN was the best when it had the news 24 hrs!

I'm a Vietnam Combat Vet. I was looking at your news to night, and you did not say anything about the Vietnam War, WHY something is wrong with that picture.....................

Ted Turner is a pioneer, a risk taker, a man who puts his money where his mouth is. He's the kind of person that made America great. Even though I don't agree with all of his opinions, I admire him a lot. Sadly, we have become a country of wimps (with the exception of our military, which is outstanding). It's so refreshing to hear someone who's opinions are based on conviction and aren't determined by what's good for the Party (Dem or Rep,) or special interests, or what's going to get them elected. I'd trade the current administration and all of Congress for a dozen like him.
