Saw Ed Peck defend the flotilla. No wonder, he has deep ties from his station in many Arab countries. Does anyone know who he represents with his Foreign Service International consulting firm? I wonder!
This act by Israel has many different faces in the name of national security some would call it piracy or an act of war and even invasion from another power Israel thinks using pant guns makes a difference the fact is that they attacked another country and killed none military people on a misguided hunch what would the United States do if the table was turned .
As to Israel it was a set up by Hamas they like to use human shields, and those so called Activist they are Hamas supports, when there is a rocket attack by Hamas on civilians in Israeli town near Gaza civilians die also, but I don’t hear the same outrage, I also agree that Israel has the right to protect them self from smuggling of weapons and building materials to built tunnels to get in to Israel and commit terrorism.
Every peace treaty has been broken by the Palestinians or their backers. It is time to end this, destroy Gaza. Burn it to the ground then salt the land. Leave it as a reminder to those palestinians who could not keep the peace accords. Let every country who plays these games see what the end game can be.

I too condem Israel for acting in this callous manner. Such a State should have the means to act more in line with the standards that civilized societies demonstrate. However, i find the Iranian flag as large as Turkey's hanging from the ferry, and the breach of International Law, regarding its boarding passengers from the north of Cyprus clear signals that the flottila had as an agenda something much bigger than Humanitarian aid.
Like the Cypriots of Turkish origin, Gazans are being used by Turkey to further their aims. I suspect that more comparisons will be made regarding the isolation they suffer so that as a regional power Turkey will obtain effective possesion of this island she craves, which at present is under the Turkish Army's illegal occupation. Both Israel and Turkey need to consider the significance of UN resolutions against them. The pardox of their actions compared to their Principals should not be dismissed. Ordinary citizens are being exploited by extremists in their midst, and in the end their acts diminsh our position as Human within a Family called Mankind.
Is it just me or is the "we have a right to defend ourselves" argument starting to get old? Over and over again we hear the same argument and if you criticize it you are an anti-semite. But I have questions.What the hell were they defending themselves against? The Israelis were not being attacked. The Israelis got on a ship without any permission or right to do so. They say they used paintball guns...why paint ball guns? If there was a real threat why would you defend yourself with paintball guns? Were any weapons found (other than the sticks that could be used as batons)? Its funny how the Israelis do not compare the horrible things that were done to the Jews during the holocaust and what they are doing to the Palestinians now. This is a genocide. The Palestinians are being slowly exterminated.

by Al Qaeda. It was set up to use provocation to make Israel look bad.
It's too bad they had to kill anyone. But ultimately Israel did act in self defence . Turkey is now Muslem controled and filled with anti- Israel Sentiment.
The blockade was also manned by Egypt. The people on each of the ships were told that once the shipped were searched and it was confirmed that there was nothing but humanitarian supplies on board, they would be allowed to proceed. The final ship's occupants decided to react violently and the Israelis were forced to respond with force. Military arms cannot be allowed into Palestine and that's why the ships were searched.
Where are the "bleeding hearts" when rockets are fired into Israel, killing innocent men, women and children? Israel has an absolute right to stop and search any ships going into Palestinian territory. The Iranians and other Muslim nations have shipped millions of tons of military hardware in to the Palestinians over the years. If you're going to complain about one side, be willing to acknowledge the evil of the other.
Autopsy's in Turkey on the 9 dead peace protesters brought there indicated 5 were executed by single shots to the head, one was a mere 2 centimeters between the machine gun muzzle to the skull of the victim.
One of the survivors stated hundreds of Israeli sailors attempted a zodiac assault raft attack to board the vessels which failed.
The Israeli's then fired hundreds of paint balls with glass shards inside of them which produced horrific soft flesh wounds.
Then the Israeli Commando's used helicopters to rappel down on the ship in the darkness, they were carrying M4 machine guns with a M203 Grenade launcher which they used to rake the decks and people with lethal 5.56mm rifle rounds.
Estimates are some 50 were wounded, 10 killed, 5 of the dead died from a single shot to the head, a American citizen was shot in the head and multiple places on his body as well among the dead.
Another American was shot in the face by a Israeli Commando's M4 Machine Gun using the M203 Grenade launcher to fire a tear gas canister right into his face. He lost his eye, but not his life.
The world has forgotten that, America have broken EVERY peace accord with the 'Indians', and even desacrated their sacred burial grounds with the heads of American Presidents. The USA is a big bully, and socialist nation under false freedom. It has cowards like Hillary Clinton who has never served in our countries military, yet she is always threatening other countries with military force. The Isralies did use military force upon a non-military ship in 'international' waters. What do people expect? Military 'soldiers' who drop out of the sky in the middle of the night, of course people are going to 'defend themselves'. If they wanted to board the ship, it should have been done in daylight, and after formal warning of such boarding attempt, and after it had entered it's waters where they need no authority to do such. International waters means they did a terrorist act, they where 'pirates', even with proof that the ships have positive ties to terrorism.
