I would like to move my investments to companys that are doing good things for this country. That probably would be 'green co's'. how do I find them?
Hey Ron,
I read your columns and like your Libertarian views of the world. My question is why does it seem that US banks get in trouble every 10 years or so for their shady business practices?
Little guy investor says stay away from any and all equities. Leave the risk for someone else. Wall street gains are based on a foundation in sand and not concrete. Regulation not good enough to protect the little guy. Invest in AAA instruments of State Munis, Treasury Strips, & Zero Coupon Bonds.
Is this the same Hart who is the libertarian humorist ?
If so, he is great. He has invested well over the years and has a healthy respect for business and those like Ted Turner who make big things happen.
I will be watching.
I'd like to ask what impact the growing debt we are piling up in the US will have on the stock market in the short and long term
I’m a real fan of Ron’s weekly column. He pulls no punches and you can take it or leave it but he makes you think, laugh and cry . Glad CNN is giving us the opportunity to hear his insights in the financial world. Obviously, not all financial advisers are the same so how do I know my adviser is giving me sound financial advice? Is my 401(k) still a good investment for the long haul? If he could give just one piece of advice for investing in today’s market what would it be?
I like Ron Hart's insights. He's not a Red Bull infused pitchman like Jim Cramer. He's level headed and informed. Great sense of humor as well!
