Obama brrds to say that the country will be eneregy independent by the end of the decade He needs to phase out tax breaks fopr oil explration and drilling and replace them with incentives for R & D of clean renewable enrgy resources. The bailput and stimuluis packages during the banking and credit crsis topped $1 trillion. The President shopuild pledge $1 trillion for energy independence.
