Join TJ Holmes weekend mornings in the CNN Newsroom, beginning 6am ET/ 3am PT.
My personal perception is that the boycotting with further hurt the economy in the region. As much as people are upset with the industry they need the jobs it provides. In turn I believe there is no good choice except quick inspections and continue production. The BP oil spill was in part of unqualified management choice to ignore the warns.
Foolish people why are you boycotting this is not the cure to the problem and shutting down all the oil rigs is counter productive we have a problem with deep water drilling anything that can not be reached in a proficient matter should be shut down and plugged such as Deep water Atlantis and a security well should be drilled now for the purpose of shutting it down just in case of a malfunction if it's to deep to fix then it's to deep .
HERE'S the deal, we need to make the brake somewhere, Where is the somewhere??? USA is the way!!! ALWAY'S!!!
To boycot BP is very foolish, the people do not understand politics. Btritain is our best allie we cannot afford to lose them. Our President should tell the people not to protest or boycot. together we are still the strognest force in the world.
Absolutely yes boycott BP, Amoco, ampm and Arco stations until the oil stops spilling in the Gulf. This is the best way to let everyone know we as consumers aren't happy with the oil spill.
For those independent owners being hurt, that's too bad. You don't have a God-given right to make money. How about covering up those stupid BP logos all over your station....
