What's next for Arizona's contentious immigration law?

A federal appeals court has denied Arizona Gov. Jan Brewer's request for an expedited hearing on the state's controversial immigration law. Instead, the case has been scheduled for a hearing during the first week in November. Experts predict the case could wind up before the Supreme Court.

How can the federal government defeat a law that is word from word a picture image replica of the standing immigration law that was accepted by congress and signed into law by a standing president without first creating a new bill threw congress and having it accepted into law by the standing president all I see is our federal government aiding and abeding criminal activity and failure to uphold the the law of the land .

What each state needs to do is to create a failure to act bill and pass it threw congress to have it signed into law and if possible signed into law by the state its self without administrative signature's .

What is the plan to get the 12+ million illegal aliens out of the U S? Does the plan include the illegal aliens from Russian, Ireland, Canada, etc? What is the plan to help farmers pick the crops once the Hispanic aliens are gone? We know other poor people who may need the minimum crop picking wages would rather live under a bridge than pick crops. Or will we have to rely on fruits and vegetable imported from south of the border…Chile, Mexico, etc? Just curious…

This is really sad that the Spanish people doesn't have a place to live, The cartells have destroyed mexico and there is nothing there for the people to make a living. I thought America is known for the Land of Opportunity. America is opened for the world there is no reason why these spanish men and women can't live here. This is an OutRage, Im not mexican, but this Immigration law isn't going to be a good law because you can't stop someone from coming to america. What is the difference in America letting foreigners all over the world to live here, illegal or not, but they will not allow any mexican or spanish. The Mexican Boarder used to be opened to everyone what happend. I

20 million+ illegals happened –the equivalent of a mass exodus. Theres
plenty of people to harvest -these people have moved into many many
types of jobs because they encourage the industries to hire THEM at
unrealistic wages which discourages these companies after being
spoiled to go back if its not required and hire qualified help. Slavery
has been gone a long time and Republicans and Democrats are
    nurturing it back.

Who will pick the crops? Well, the United States has millions of prisoners sitting jails doing nothing,
that could easily solve the problem of harvesting the Crops

If you really want to get this together. You got to pay all people the same for their work. And this country and mexico got to come together to give all people a fair wage for their labor. As for drugs in this country if you really want to stop it. You should have a urine test for every one that work in this country once every two weeks. That way you will stop the market and save lives at the border.

TJ, Irt the14th amendment issue, and the Immigration Law Expert" Rosaldo Pena. Im no expert but Ive been in construction most of my life before and after the Marine Corps, And ive lived with the mexicans, I have sweated with them and I have learn to respect them as a person so earns it, Im Hispanic and totally bow to the Mexicans who have worked so hard and actually been forced to come here. But, We do need to protect our tax spending and they will have to understand this the hard way. Im sorry for their misfortunes but what the Mexicans need to do is FIGHT,FIGHT,FIGHT. But in THEIR COUNTRY!! and we should help them. They need to work together and fight their goverment and force them to control their Mexican Mafia Druglords. Thats a story you should cover TJ.... I was a poor hispanic child and they used to call me spec, beaner, etc.. and I am an American!! So when this expert says Its not a problem, and they have the Financial means verified, she must be on some crack!! she is bias and hurting them by trying to help them, If you were black and poor you have a better chance and easier because your first language is english, for them its a trying job because in the home nobody can help these children with homework, and its difficult for them to communicate at school or participate in school functions!!! I have seen it and felt so sorry for them and today they are the ones picking fruit!!! Most of these people have never even seen an airport, or been to a mall, or a theatre!! So how in the hell are we helping them by letting them stay here??? We have two options, legalize them or send them back. very dam simple. legalize them and let them in the door to pay taxes and be proud americans. (the better choice) or Send them all home, Make all the Farmers and Contractors pay the majority of the fines for hiring them and the cost to send them home. and AND I WILL CALL MS. PENA A LIAR TO HER FACE BECAUSE ANYONE WHO HAS VERIFIED THAT A VISITOR SEEKING A VISA HAS 30,000.00 DOLLARS ( TO PAY FOR A NEWBORN SO WE DONT ABSORB THE COST) SURELY WOULD START A BUSINESS IN THEIR OWN COUNTRY!!! LETS GET THE FACTS STRAIGHT MS. PENA!! and by the way, we must have at least a few million prisoners who we pay a daily rate to be in prison which Im sure they would be bitten at the bit to pick some fruit, throw some ankle bracelets on and zap em if they try to get away!! its very simple, Why are we making a big deal out of this? and by the way TJ you do a dam good job!! Im a disabled vet and I sure would like to have one of those red CNN coffee cups next to my Marine Corp Cup and my CAT (catapillar) cup. will buy it if need be, GOD BLESS GRACIAS,
