Childhood obesity has more than tripled in the past 30 years. And for the first time, kids have a shorter life expectancy than their parents. But, Judge Glenda Hatchett, you know her from her syndicated TV court series, is issuing an order to end obesity. She's heading up a five-city anti-obesity campaign.

It is good that the TV Judge Hatchett has lower the Gavel on Worthy Cause of Childhood obesity. We need more people like her to take notice. Kids have a shorter life expectancy than their parents with this condition of obesity. We need to help on task instead of having another attitude. This is a serious problem. It is great that she is heading up to a five-city anti-obesity campaign.
