Thank you Ali for being one of the few standing up and saying outright what our country is based on - freedom for all! The Republican Party is so twisted that they welcome all the crazy points of view from the right wing Limbaugh, Beck, and the wackyiest of the Tea Bag Party without care for what is right and what is wrong. Have they no shame? Old line conservatives like Everett Dirksen, William F. Buckley, and even Ronald Reagan whom they seem to revere are certainly turning over in their graves at what the NEW Republican Party has wrought. PLEASE CNN, HOLD THESE PEOPLE ACCOUNTABLE IN YOUR NEWS PROGRAMS. You are fortunate to have Ali there!

A topic I would like to see covered more in the media: outsourcing of our high paying jobs to foreign countries (e.g; India, specifically IT jobs).

    (1) Is it a coincidence that Cognizant (an Indian outsouring company) was listed in a CNN news story as #1 in the list of the 10 fastest growing companies in the world?

    (2) What impact is outsourcing having on the collection of payroll taxes in this country and conversely the huge government deficit?

    (3) Is it likely that the mass outsouring of jobs in the IT field will mean that the next generation will not pursue education for these types of jobs and therefore America will no longer have the skill set needed to fill these jobs?

No air bag jackets please. Just pass a national law that all motorcycle riders including passengers required to wear DOT or SNELL approved helmets. This alone will help reduce health care costs across the nation.

What's happenning with this new crack-cocaine law? Does this mean
that prisoners who are in prison, will have an opportunity to get time off their sentences? I know selling drugs is wrong, what I don't understand is why a murderer gets a 5 year sentence, and selling drugs gets a 20 year sentence. Is human life worth less than drugs?

Today between 2:00pm and 2:30pm there was a segment on putting a ring in your engine to increase fuel economy and decrease emission.

I couldn't get the name of the company that has this product.(the info at the bottom of the page was "lacking")

Where can I find more information on this insert?
