This Week's Q&A: Can you say HOLIDAY!?

It's becoming ever clearer that we love our holidays and vacations!

Whether it is a cruise, a few nights camping under the stars, a package tour or a deluxe week in a spa (my kind of week!) we are prepared to spend money on getting away from it all. We need our holidays to recharge our batteries.

Some of you watching will be bathing in weeks of annual leave to take. Others will barely get a long weekend with pay.

On this week's Q&A Ali Velshi and Richard Quest will be going head to head debating the entitlement to paid annual leave. They will be looking at the benefits of a vacation for employees, employers and the economy.

Surely this is a win win!? There will also be our head to head quiz – The guys are one-all at the moment....will that last? The "voice" is digging into the recesses of our producing minds to put them to the test!

All chant together..

    Ali,
This stem cell research debate etc. is much like the debate about not wearing animal fur and animal products in clothing – There is a choice:
Don't use /wear products made with animal parts if you find it offensive, cruel, against a religious belief etc.
    or
Use/ wear them if you have no such qualms
Any medicine or treatment etc. which is produced or developed and includes utilization of stem cells research etc. can be avoided by those who find it offensive, cruel, against their religious beliefs etc.
For those who do not have those feelings or beliefs, there should still be the "FREEDOM of CHOICE" or is that part of The Constitution not applicable by decree of those who find the stem cell research unacceptable?

Ali, I am with you. Americans are probably the hardest working people in the free world. I grew up in Europe. Europeans are lazy compare to the American worker counterparts.

Richard & Ali, I am wondering about the link between stress caused by over work and poor health. We all know that the USA has an obesity problem and there is a link between stress and weight gain. There is also a link between the reduction in stress and improvement in all kind of health issues. Read Dr. Herbert Benson's book "Relaxation Revolution". I think companies can help reduce healthcare costs by helping their employees decrease stress! Gloria Charlier RN, BSN, CCHt
