I am amazed that our politicians in Washington just don't get it. The American middle class is in dire straights. We have been milked out of our retirements by our employers using our retirement money to fund their golden parachute. Our health care has eroded to a point where you wonder what is the sense of making an insurance payment? They don't pay for anything anyway, and they leave us to fund our own health care while we make payments to them. All of their executives have shiny golden parachutes as well. At whose expense? The middle class of course. Our salaries have eroded with no raises, long hours, and no consideration for even being human. Our employers have milked us of our time, our money, and our dignity, all because no one will defend the middle class. We are the working poor. The American dream now is to just have a job. A job where you work 60 hour weeks for no extra pay. This is what we have to be thankful for! To think that the American Revolution was started over a small tax on tea?

The only answers to these problems the republicans have is to repeal healthcare legislation and give tax breaks to the richist of the rich . The Tea Baggers think unemployment insurance is unconstitutional but do not not mind that their states like Alaska get 2.5 dollars back for every dollar they send to the federal government. They people are going after societies saftey nets up to and including medicare and social security.Eventually our young poor will be living in third world America, be careful what you ask for..
