Today’s theme “Myth vs. Reality”…and that has us talking about diets. Most people will do whatever it takes for those six-pack abs, to fit in those size 4 jeans again or even be fit like your favorite celebrity. Seriously, you name it there’s a way to lose weight… Remember those Jane Fonda workouts, 8 minute Abs, Suzanne Somers’ Thighmaster, Tae-Bo, the Flexmaster, detox diets, low-carb diets, the grapefruit diet, the baby food diet… yes, there’s even a coffee diet! Oh, and don’t forgot the Subway diet it worked for Jared, right?
C’mon admit it you know you’ve tried at least one of those diets. While some of them work… many are just duds or even disasters. So, tell us your diet story. Which ones you’ve tried… which ones worked for you or didn’t? We want to hear from you, and Kyra Phillips will read some of them during the 10 o’clock hour of CNN Newsroom.

Blame high unemployment...blame high food prices.... But an even more alarming statistic…1-in-4 children lives in a home without adequate food in the fridge. Top Chef judge Tom Colicchio, his wife, and others are documenting families who worry about where their next meal is coming from. Here's a portion of his conversation with CNN's Kyra Phillips.
Watch CNN Newsroom with Kyra Phillips M-F from 9-11am ET.
