It's a sign of the times, parents tapped out along with school districts, so one public school system in Massachusetts is taking another tack to bring in needed revenue. The Peabody schools are going to sell ads on the backsides of school notices its elementary school kids take home - permission slips, alerts, directions. But is it the beginning of a slide down a slippery slope of commercialism in the classroom?
