Pima County Sheriff Clarence Dupnik isn’t hiding his opinion about what may have driven a gunman to open fire outside a Tucson, Arizona grocery store, killing six people and wounding 14 others, including Congresswoman Gabrielle Giffords. He points the finger squarely at inflammatory rhetoric, suggesting that political “vitriol” on the airwaves is dangerously agitating the public. Libertarian radio host Neal Boortz took serious exception to that accusation when he spoke with CNN’s Don Lemon.
