Regardless of what they say in New Orleans, I watched coverage of the Gulf Oil Spill and the devastation that ensued.
I wouldn't touch shrimp from the Gulf with a ten foot pole and would have to think very hard before I would swim in it's Ocean around the Spill areas.
I wish them nothing but recovery, clean waters and ecosystems-however those people from New Orleans who insist on working the rigs and with Big Oil Companies know this tainted seafood and water is part of the risk of the drill.
I don't know how they can have both.

This is last years story about oil.
Today, gas prices are turning me into a member of then "Working Poor"
Can't afford a smaller car.. Cash for clunkers increased used car prices. Must commute by car. Already work two jobs. These prices are killing us in the lower income levels. This is a huge tax on me.
