    Dear CNN:

I nominate Bradley Manning as "Hero of the Year" for bringing to government the transparency that has often been promised but never delivered. In the present day climate, showing a clear distinction between what we are told and the actual truth has never been more important to improving the quality of life on our planet.

    Sincerely yours,

    Jeremiah Q. Schreyer

My vote for CNN hero of the year is Joe Paterno. His quiet dignity and courage while being unfairly crucified by CNN and the out of control rabid media was truely admirable.

Mashallah, Islam is the first religion to ever give women freedom, but nowaday we are close to losing this honor that is given to us . Let's educate our little girls from all over the world so they can educate their children and  work for  dunya ( provisional world) and hereafter.

May God bless increase them in knowledge and reward Razia.

  25. Mary Lou Wise

I voted all the times I could for Mary Cortani. She is helping veterans who have invisible wounds such as PTSD and TBI train their own service dogs. It is a long ordeal to train each dog and fit them with a veteran who can be trained to use
his dog to his greatest advantage. Our government does not realize how many veterans there are from Iraq and Afghanistan who are suffering from these indivisible wounds from these different kinds of war. God Bless Her.

vote for Mama Rosie, to be a person who has so much compassion for children, I commend her for so much love of those children, when we know blood-relation have so little love, this is a heartfelt love from a lady with so much love, is this not the way God would have us all to be. God Bless Mama Rosie for giving so much-much LOVE.
