GOP race could make U.S. religious history

It could be historic - and a sign of the changing intersection between religion and politics in America.
In this election, the Republican Party might have its first non-Protestant nominee in modern times. This morning in the Newsroom, we're talking about a piece I put together on the CNN religion blog, in which experts discuss the significance of the religious diversity among the GOP contenders.
