Father binds, cages, threatens to electrocute daughter, defends it as a 'joke'

According to police, a man in Ohio bound his young daughter with duct-tape, forced her into a dog cage, and threatened to electrocute her.  Her brother captured photos of the incident, which he uploaded to Facebook.  Now the father is claiming that the whole thing was done as a joke.  CNN's Brooke Baldwin has the story.

No Talking Points: The GOP's Media Blaming Addiction

It was the most fiery opening to any of the Republican debates so far. Newt Gingrich lashed out on Thursday after CNN's John King questioned him about allegations that he asked his second wife for an open marriage. Many believe the outburst helped push him to victory two days later in the South Carolina primary, but that does not mean he gets to claim the moral high ground here. It's more of the "blame the media" tactic that the GOP loves to embrace—but even one of Gingrich's Republican rivals is getting sick of hearing it.
