The many sounds of Sollee's cello

If you think cello players are only to be found in a symphony orchestra, look no further than Ben Sollee.   He fuses genres like bluegrass, blues, folk, and classical – all with his cello.   Ben’s in the studio right now recording his next album, Half-Made Man, a record that took him less than 48 hours of online pledges to fund.   Ben shares his unique style with Brooke in this week's Music Monday.

Everytime I hear the music of a cello, it reminds me of the movie Titanic. I think it would be nice if music players would play their instruments in public areas like parks or places people like to hang around and eat outside. I think if restaurants would hire a musician to play music while people eat, more people would go to their restaurants.

A very charismatic Guy with a percussive playing style. What I find most arresting about him is the instantaneous connection made while listening as he Sings his heart out about the things that Matter. I like?! "How To See The SunRise" Learning To Bend, which I take as a Expression telling the love of their life, that they are maturing into the relationship slowly but surely..........
