The Psychology of the Lottery Player

Millions waited in lines around the country, hoping to get a piece of the Mega Millions Lottery. Only three won – in Maryland, Illinois and Kansas – and they'll each get a little over $218,000,000. Now, despite the odds, just one in 176 million, people forked over their cash hoping to win. Don Lemon talked with Human Behavior Expert Dr. Wendy Walsh about how excited people got, even with those near impossible odds.
