Dubbed "The Decider" by Time Magazine, Supreme Court Justice Anthony Kennedy is expected to be the swingman in Thursday's health care reform ruling. The Supreme Court will announce their decision on the constitutionality of Obamacare and everyone is waiting to see if he will veer right or left. Brooke speaks to Kennedy's former clerk, Stephen Engel, as the announcement looms.
Frightened and trepidatious: my nerves may not last until tomorrow; if the affordable health care law is not upheld, I will be in tears after waiting my entire adult life (old enough to care passionately about this issue) for this country to provide what is taken for granted in all other "developed" countries. There is story of misery after misery and yes, it will cost money, but a worthwhile cost not an endless useless war in Iran. If I were the praying sort, I will be praying tonight that the supreme court acts in the interest of EVERYONE in this country.
Excellent news room blog on justice kennedy whoever wrote it. Was it brooke baldwin?
6/28/12 Now that the Supreme Court has found the Affordable Heath Care Act consitiutional, I have a question. I used to work for a small family business employing 3 people besides family,. The family had health insurance though the company but not the other 3 employees. If I were still working there and I file my income taxes, what would happen to me when I checked that I had no health insurance?
Are you guys only going to interview white male republicans today about health care??... How about some democrat opinions on health care??? TOO BAD REPUBLICANS... LOST IN ARIZONA.. LOST AGAIN TODAY...
