    Thank you California for taking steps to curb inhumane procedures on livestock. This and West Hollywood banning fur from its shops is a surefire way to set the example.

    Pure hypocrisy and double standard.
    In as much as yes, this animal feeding is brutal and should be condoned, the treatments California meat and milk farms administer to their own poultry, cattle or pigs is just as disgusting, not mentioning the land pollution it generates. Where is this ban then ?
