I'm so proud of Gabby Douglas being the worlds top gymnist. While watching and hearing the gymnastic event I saw and heard nothing but racism. I can not believe how racist the other gymnist were toward Gabby Douglas on national T.V. . It was so obvious that the gymnastic commentators did not expect Gabby Douglas to win, nor did her team mates. Its a shame how non-black americans show their racism towards their own Black United States Citizens on National T.V.

A black person trying to win a gold metal for the United States have to support themselves financially before and after they when a gold metal for the United State. The only past gold metalist Olympic Americans that have benefit greatly for winning gold metals for the United States is Bruce Jenner and Michael Phelps, oh yes and some of the old white tennis players.

Although, I recognized the negative comments expressed by the commentators towards Gabby Douglas, she continued to smile and exude confidence. Douglas encouraged her team and nothing could intercept this budding athlete's optimistic demeanor. When Gabby began the interview, I was humbled as she announced that she believes in the scriptures and studies the word...strength within. At that moment, I thanked Our Heavenly Father for her giving Him the praise. Now, the success has come full force and may God keep her in his embrace as well as guide her steps throughout all he pours out for her to receive. Peace and Blessing to Precious Gabby Douglas!!!
