Sandy wipes out New Jersey amusement park

Brooke talks to meteorologist Chad Myers about the destruction Superstorm Sandy caused on the New Jersey shoreline.  The Seaside Heights amusement park and pier were both damaged by the storm.

    i feel bad for all the people who love that a musment park because i love ceder point and if that got ruind ill be devistated.

    So sad to see all the devastation. Places like these hold so many memories for so many people. It's sad to see such attractions destroyed. Yes, Cedar Point is my favorite, too. I just wish they would have kept some of the trees instead of making it a huge, barren, hot concrete pad!

    It's horrific in North Jersey. For now, this is the storm of the century and I hate to say for now. If only there was a way to control mother nature. May everyone be resilient.
