They risk their lives, sacrifice, and come back home with life lessons for all of us.
On Veterans Day, we heard from people all over the country about what you have learned from those who served in the U.S. military.
Many of the answers were beautiful - and things we should all keep in mind. See more here.

This is regarding the story on M Brown"s parents who went to the U.N. ARE YOU KIDDING ME!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I am sorry for the loss of their son but if what has been said about him, he must have been using drugs. You don't ever attack a policeman. If I would have done what he had done, that officer would have shot me, and I am in my 60's. You can't attack policeman and you can't go around robbing stores or taking things that don't belong to you. How did they ever get to the U.N??? I'm sure that made the U.S. look really stupid for them beng their. If the family wants support, which they had much of my support, they need to quit making it a racial thing. They need to change the direction of this movement as they have lost many supporters on this one. Again, I am sorry for their loss. I've lost a close family member also but if the violence starts again, it destroys what they are trying to do.
