"Wanted: 30 GOP For Fiscal Cliff Petition"

Brooke Baldwin talks to democratic congressman Steve Israel about Nancy Pelosi's fiscal cliff petition. Israel says tax increases should be linked to taxpayers' cost of living and not an arbitrary income figure.

Brooke's wailing about the fiscal cliff is about as shallow as it gets. Take today's opportunity of Obama's speech in Michigan. True to CNN's unannounced policy of keeping the news moving in segments that are commercial-friendly, she was given the opportunity to "cover" this speech, which among other things challenged right to work laws (which she later featured in another pre-recorded slice). But Brooke never allowed Obama to get to that point of the speech.
The next segment had to do with some celebrity, and the need to entertain. I switched to C-SPAN just as Ms. Baldwin was telling us what I had heard Obama say in the allotted 5 minutes. Is she really as stupid as she appears to be? Is this another case of a "pretty face with naught behind its?" I am afraid so: and there are several such faces on CNN. Please give your audience a break and occasionally let the events speak for themselves rather than have beautiful cretin interpret them according to his/her political "philosophy."
