Late in the day, we found out George Zimmerman would not take the stand in his own trial. CNN’s legal contributors joined Ashleigh Banfield to discuss all the latest courtroom action.
If Zimmerman goes free and / or is acquitted, the justice isn't blind...it's in a coma! How do justify an an innocent youth walking home from a local store and is spotted by Zimmerman, and Zimmerman decides to play cop. He notifies the authorities – and they say STOP the pursuit...allow the police to handle it. But Zimmerman defies the police operator, confronts the youth, provokes an altercation, and the end results are a dead innocent youth. Not only will Florida tun into another Rodney King riot, but justice will not be served and the homicide count in Sanford, Fl, will multiply and make history! Oh, by the way, I'm white!!!!

why is this a big deal when stand your ground law is used for felons that kill
people in self defense with unregistered guns. I,ve seen it on The First 48 all the time they may serve time for the gun charge but not the killing. This man was a registered gun owner.I Feel sympathy for Mr. Martins family but the law is the law. I think people need to be concerned about when it works in the cases I mention in the beginning. Thank You
