Embassies close after Al Qaeda threat

    Won't they just postpone their plan? I understand keeping Americans safe but wouldn't it have been better to clear out civilians and stock pile the embassies with a " welcoming party" in hopes of capturing some of the nuts for interrogation? I don't see how closing for a day or two is going to thwart anything. Postpone/yes thwart/no.

    I this a real threat or is it just a PR stunt to justify spending 60B on nsa If there is a threat what is it? The U.S. has 2 M active duty personnel, 1M reserve, and has spent 3T on wars and nsa over the past 10yrs so why can't we deal with the so called threat instead of closing embassies.
