Passengers were allegedly removed from a Delta flight on Thanksgiving day so the plane could be used by the Univ. of Florida basketball team. CNN's Brooke Baldwin talks with the reporter who broke the story in Gainesville, Florida.
SHAME Delta Airlines! When will America stop putting sports before everything else? When people are taken off their purchased flight just so a boys' basketball team can use the plane, that is despicable. The team wasn't even scheduled on a Delta flight, but a charter plane. You know America, Rome used the gladiators to take the masses focus off of what the officials were doing to them. America stop putting sports ahead of everything else. If you spend as much focus on science/medical research/education, we will all live better. Delta, shame on you...bad decision by someone. And the coach and players should be ashamed, too. And the university owes an apology to all those families hurt by this action. When you think that your athletes deserve more than the common man, you are wrong!!

We had a flight cancelled 5 hours before we were scheduled to leave for New Orleans out of Minneapollis in October. They tried to reschedule us, but we could not get there that evening. Delta said they could get us to Dallas, but we would have to go standby from there. We filed a complaint with the FAA and Delta. We ended up getting 32,500 miles on our sky miles. The FAA is keeping track of travelers being bumped from flights.
