Maybe these two back-to-back cold snaps will wake a few of the doubters up about climate change. The more of these developments there are, the harder it gets to keep from connecting the dots. Why it's seen as a leftist issue is hard to say. The central idea on the left is equality. This has nothing to do with the usual leftist concerns, though, so it's not really a leftist issue. If you put more carbon dioxide into the atmosphere, the temperature will go up. That's not ideology or social science, it's simple physics; it's really just common sense.
