Blaming the Atty Gen in La. for not wanting to accept the waste ashes of the Duncan family residence in Dallas is crazy. Why should Louisiana take anything related to this tragedy from Texas? Isn't there enough open space in Texas to take the ashes in question. Bravo for the Atty. General for stepping up even if there is no chance of the virus surviving the incineration. That's a Texas problem no other state should be forced to be a depository for these ashes.
EBOLA ! there are millions of people in the U.S, That don't beleive that EBOLA is Real , it's fake a Scam ! etc.......So why does CNN not cover this portion of the story > do interviews of people calling it a hoax and why they beleive it to Be? are they afraid it might be and lose a news story ? Is it that they are afraid of the Govt? or that they may really stumble on something bigger than the Ebola story ? There has to be more to a story than just trying to scare people ! where is the other side of the story ??
1st STOP international flights into the US at this time.
2nd.Have a Hastak team at the airports, with a 24hrs isolation area and doctor from the CDC
3rd All Hospitals should have in place a Protocol, we do in a town, with a Doc who is with the CDC.
4th..The Hospital in Dallas and others with Ebola pts. MUST have a contaiment area AND a isolation area with only air flow to those areas seperate from the hospital.
5th Each Isolation area must have a 3 door entry and exit. these can be put in place in less than a day.
6th If these measure are dcone containment will happen, if not, then your only allowing it to spread.
7th anyone who has been possible exposed, must stay in isolation for at least 24 to 72hrs.
all homes, cars , any and all personal items must be taken
All people theyve come in contact must be isolated fo a 24 to 72 hr period.
Someone please do this, if done...Ill say it again..do these steps and it will stop the spread.

I worked in the healthcare fiield for over 24 yrs and we had procedures then, and isolation areas. AND we always wore isolation gowns, gloves, shoe covers..

There have been numerous suggestions that the US should set up regional
Ebola centers which could spray decontaminate healthcare workers before
they disrobed. I think there are military sites that are set up for decontamination
already. We should send infected people to these centers that are trained
against contamination.
All people with passports from West Africa should be denied entry by State
Department workers at airport emigration , et.al..
Millions are being donated by Bill Gates and Mark Zuckerberg for aid to
West Africa.This has to be overseen by responsible people.
Why is a healthcare worker, who came into direct contact with the Liberian who
died, allowed to leave Dallas and not be under mandatory quarantine?
DO THE MATH. GEOMETRIC PROGRESSION WILL SOON ENLARGE THE CONTAMINATE POOL BY BIG NUMBERS.
Last evening CNN projected new Ebola cases at possibly 10,000 per week in the near future. This is entirely possible due to geometric progression. At first the disease spreads slowly. Month by month the pool of contaminated patients enlarges. There is a point when the contaminated numbers reach what is called "CRITICAL MASS" . We will be hitting CM soon. Meaning , instead of 900 active cases, capable of spreading disease, there will be 3,000 active cases capable of spreading disease and in short order 5,000 active cases capable of spreading disease. The larger the contamination pool the greater the duplication factor becomes. That is how this gets out of control. The bigger the pool of an extremely infectious disease to faster it grows. You will see big jumps in numbers.
It would be helpful if CNN did a program explaining how geometric progression takes hold and the consequences of inaction. I do not mean to scare anyone, but we are about to reach critical mass in Africa. Allowing flights to continue to carry potential Ebola patients into other countries is grossly irresponsible. We might be able to slow the spread of Ebola in the US but as you can see, things are not going well over here. ONE MAKES 2, THOSE 2 CREATE 2 NEW CASES WHICH IN TURN CREATE 4 NEW CASES WHICH IN TURN CREATE 6 NEW CASES, WHICH IN TURN CREATE 10 NEW CASES. AND SO IT GOES….10 X 2 = 20. 20 X 2 = 40 40 X 2=80. STILL SMALL BUT GROWING….YOU CAN SEE HOW GEOMETRIC PROGRESSION BEGINS. YOU CAN WORK THE NUMBERS
ANYWAY YOU LIKE, AT SOME POINT THE NUMBERS WILL HIT CRITICAL MASS AND THEN THE DUPLICATION FACTOR EXPLODES.
THIS MUST BE NIPPED IN THE BUD. PLEASE DO A PROGRAM ON THE ABOVE. IT IS IMPORTANT FOR PEOPLE TO UNDERSTAND AND DEMAND RESPONSIBLE ACTION BE TAKEN.

When are we going to address the risk that Ebola is a terrorist dream come true. Imagine how blindsided we will be when terrorist go to West Africa, contract the disease and bring it to the US. By the time we realize it happened, it will be to late. We need to treat this as Biological Warfare. The military needs to get involved and take the lead role.

Sanjay Gupta and others say airborne Ebola very unlikely. I'm not sure this is accurate at all. There has already been an outbreak of airborne Ebola that hit a monkey importing facility right here I the U.S. in Reston Virginia. It was called Ebola-R for Reston, and it was a strain of Ebola that was deadly to monkeys but benign in humans. This strain was most certainly airborne, and spread through the air vents in the monkey facility. The scary thing about it is that the monkey handlers did in fact test positive for Ebola antibodies, but did not get sick. Read 'The Hot Zone' by Richard Preston for details.
Dr. Gupta, Thank you for clarifing about the Temp. Everyone is going to be different. id like to know what is the time period that its going to show if you have it. Ive heard as long as 21 dys?? I dont remember it being that long.
Also, ALL 131 passegers, need to be located and quarantined in there homes along with there familys. If they have children and only one person comes down with it, and a child goes to school that would be a disaster, so please. I thought about a community center for all of them to go to, so they could be monitored by healthcare personal, but I feel its best they stay in there homes and checked on with Hastak Medical Personnal Daily.
Also, If the ashes are still hot, then what of the suits, rags,euipment..ect...
Also, please check, acid/alkal. balances..see if it responds to a acidic body or a alkaline body...I know that the body does better in a more alkaline system. But just maybe, a more acidic could suppress it or even help kill it... but then they may be more acidic now.
Also, the CDC, needs to have a lead and call in several other docs to brain storm NOW. GET a plan and go with it.
Units can be setup outside of a hosp. Im assuming that Emery is going to be that unit now. thats it. My prayers go to all of you so close and cont. to let us know. This is all I can do, My best to you and that nurse, she did what she was told, and if I was her I would have done the same thing, she wasnt sick like the other and she more than likely thought she wasnt going to get sick, thats why Id like to know what the incubation period is? Or is it different in many?

Dr. Gupta SHOULD BE DIRECTOR OVER THE EBOLA ILLNESS. dONOT CALL IT A CZAR. He can and will do a very good job, he should pick 3 to 4 people to work as a TEAM. Hes very realistic and also has the ability to convey to the media.
2nd..All the people.. again.. on that flight and possibly the others should be monitored and asked to stay in there homes.. tho those on the flight back, now you will have to see who all they have been around, work, school and so forth. Its better to be safe than sorry. Pleaseeeeeee....
3rd.. As to international flights. All flights should be stopped... with an exception of course to those who take Medical personannal , equipment, meds..ect . tho when they return, they may have to only go to one airport, where they will have to stay at a terminal, not attached to the main airport. Then cannot have contact with anyone. If Family wants to see them, they have to wear Hazmat suits behind windows in the terminal they are in. It must be a seperate one..due to it s ability to mutate and turns airbourne which I beieve it is. These pilots will be the only ones to travel . So they need to have all means of communication and food to them to help keep them pyhco. intake. again. People need help, but we need to try to keep it contained.
4th All Hospitals in the US, need to have in there ER a mandotory 1st Triage only for those who may think they have been exposed. They can be setup outside in a portable. If there suspected, there removed, by people in hasmat suit in a truck, that can be sprayed down, completely steel, benches and such.
5th there needs to be a Ebloa Hosp. setup... it can be a small Hosp now. Or turn a Center into one. Id perfer a Hospital, it has all the equipment already and 02 .... and when this tradey is over, the facility will have to be burned. its cheaper to do this than to setup units and equipment and personal all over the place... we need a containment bldy.. with diff. levels of degrees....
5th YOU MUST locate all those people on the flights and qaurantine them. pleaseeeeeeeeeee and any one theyve been around. At work, school ect.... and ask those to also stay at home. Instead of the CDC delivering thermo. they could be told to meet in a parking lot, stay in there cars and medical equipment will be disbursed to them by hastak suits.. they then take a history and update.. this is a way for them to see them visually...and how they are.. later, phone calls, comp. chats. and or visits.
7th I pray for that Nurse, and I was appauled at how she was blamed. She did what she was told, you have to remember, its so hard to lose a Pt. it breaks there heart, when they tryed so hard.. she I believe, as I have in the past. Felt that she wouldnt get it. Since her coworker did and she didnt come down with it, she felt a false sense of security, as most do, its natural, and she also had her wedding on her mind, that mad her happy. She needed that after what she had gone thru. I cant believe noone has put this together, but I guess youd have to had been there, day in and day out. When she had a temp. can you only imagine her fear!!!! She called!!!! and was told to go ahead. And where do people want to be when they may be sick, HOME. With all she d had gone thru, her stress of her wedding tho a happy one, she was exhausted. People just try to feel what shes feeling now. She feels terrible, that she did get on that plane.. and shes sooooo sick.... Please keep these people in your prayers.. I so believe in prayers. And I pray for all those who care for those sick, I know what your hearts feel. And I ask that you are blessed and protected!
