Music Monday: Fitz and the Tantrums

This week's Music Monday features Fitz and the Tantrums whose sound was first inspired by a vintage organ found in a moving sale. They describe music as "not something you can hold in your hands but it can generate so much feeling and emotion".  Brooke dished with this guitar-less band at the Sundance Festival.

Michael Jackson's nephew – singer Austin Brown – performs at SXSW

Michael Jackson's nephew – singer Austin Brown – performs in Austin, Texas, at the SXSW convention.  Brown says his uncle Michael “spent time with me and all my cousins to really show us why music was important". 26-year-old Brown is the son of Rebbie Jackson and says dancing and singing come natural.

Evanescence is back!

After a five-year break, Evanescence kicks off a new tour with an album debuting at number one on the Billboard charts. Singer Amy Lee tells Brooke on this week's Music Monday that she is "falling back in love with Evanescence and just coming back home to it after a long time away".

David Berkeley shares his "Indie-Folk" sound

His self-described "Indie-Folk" style has attracted a loyal following and some have even paid for private gigs with Berkeley. Tori Amos on 'stepping into her grace'

Singer/songwriter Tori Amos sits down to chat with Brooke about embracing the fact that she's older.  20 years have passed since the release of her debut album 'Little Earthquakes', but Amos says she no longer feels the pressure to keep up with the young girls.  She explains that she sees herself as a 'classic car', and that while women her age may not be perfect cosmetically, they have much more to offer in other areas.  She even has some advice on the subject for Brooke!
